Inside Higher Ed, Inc. is owned by Times Higher Education (THE), the world’s most authoritative source of data, analysis and information on higher education, with five decades of experience dedicated to the field. THE purchased Inside Higher Ed in January 2022 from Quad Partners, a private equity firm that invested in Inside Higher Ed seven years earlier.

Owners of Inside Higher Ed stock who are not editors play no role in the editorial policies of the company.
